South African platinum producer Northam Platinum has announced record-breaking results for the second half of 2026. The company reported an 18.6% increase in revenue, reaching ZAR 29.38 billion compared to ZAR 24.77 billion in the prior period. Profit before tax saw a significant jump of 22.9% to ZAR 10.37 billion, while earnings per share rose by 22.0% to 1330 cents. Despite a substantial 33% rise in operating costs at its northern operations, Northam Platinum managed to overcome this due to higher selling prices and increased volumes. This robust performance underscores the company's strong operational execution and favorable market conditions for platinum group metals.
